Luck

I don’t believe in luck,
Do you?

Patience and luck are one of the same.
For either of them to work when trying to succeed -whether it is physically or mentally- you need to put in work... consistently. Once is not enough, neither is 10 or 100, in fact, you never know what is enough until what you set out to achieve has been achieved. If it happens before you predict I call it luck and if it exceeds your predictions its patience.

Luck is just just a numbers game, the more you participate the more likely you are to win. For example, if you buy a raffle ticket you have 1 chance in X of winning, if you buy 2 raffle tickets your chances then double if you buy 3 your chances triple and so on. The same goes for training.
To a lot of people I probably sound like a killjoy, to get something superstitious and positive and quantify it. And yes, I am because when I hear people use the word luck, it seems to be this derogatory word that is used when someone achieves something great or near impossible. Instead of taking the time to try and understand or appreciate the timing and work put in, It takes away the hard work and dedication and time and stress and patience and consistency that the individual has put in, all that effort, turned into just... luck.
‘Luck’ is preserved as something great that was just given to someone, out of the blue, right place, right time but that's not the case not for the majority of cases.

Do you still believe in luck?
If so, comment below.

Haha, today's post felt like more of a rant but it's a subject I really wanted to get off my chest but for good reason.
If you can relate comment and let me know and share it with someone who can relate (and if this post goes viral it was not luck, just a numbers game).
